MOSCOW, June 13 The Russian army lacks many things: precision-guided munitions, communications equipment, UAVs — they are, but the question is quantity, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Of course, in the course of the SVO, it became clear that many things were missing: these are precision-guided munitions, communications equipment, aircraft — these drones and so on. We [have] them, but, unfortunately, we they are not enough quantitatively,» Putin said at a meeting with war correspondents on Tuesday.
The President noted that in a conversation with the fighters who are on the front line, there were requests for additional allocation of counter-battery weapons.
“Several tanks have already been destroyed, including by kamikaze drones. They are very effectively used. Probably much more effective than the means that the enemy has, but they are not enough, and there are not enough Orlans, and the quality of Orlans needs to be improved, although they are fulfilling their task. That is, a lot of what is needed — modern anti-tank weapons are needed, and modern tanks are needed,» he said.
