MOSCOW, June 19< /strong> A magistrate of the court district of the Khamovniki district in Moscow fined Yandex for 2 million rubles for repeatedly failing to provide law enforcement access to information, the court reported.
As follows from the published text of the resolution, technical requirements were set for the Yandex.Services service so that law enforcement agencies could «conduct operational-search measures against users of the organization.» The requirements were not met on time, which is why in 2022 the company was fined 400 thousand rubles, later a protocol was also drawn up for a repeated violation.
During the hearing, Yandex's defense did not deny the circumstances set forth in the protocol on an administrative offense, but drew the court's attention to the many violations of the norms of laws when drawing up the protocol.
