FSB reported on the detention of two Crimeans suspected of collaborating with Ukrainian special services

The FSB reported on the detention in Crimea of ​​two residents of Yalta, born in 1980 and 1983, who are suspected of collaborating with the Ukrainian special services. This was reported by the press service of the department to TASS and RIA Novosti.

According to the FSB, the detainees “initiatively established cooperation with the representative of the SBU” and passed him “information about the socio-political, economic and military situation in peninsula».

The FSB claims that the Yalta residents suggested that the SBU officer take photos and videos of the objects of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation <…>, and also expressed their readiness to commit sabotage and terrorist acts against military facilities on the territory of the Republic Crimea.

A criminal case has been initiated on cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state (Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code). The punishment under this article is from 3 to 8 years in prison.

A recording of the detention published by RIA Novosti shows how a plainclothes officer runs up to a man who is fishing in a pond and knocks him to the ground, to which the Crimean replies: “For what?”
