MOSCOW, June 30 The Russian Cultural Foundation is launching the Leo Classics streaming platform, which will provide access to classical music concerts, theatrical performances, and exhibitions, the foundation's press service reported.
«For 36 years, the Russian Cultural Foundation has been following its mission of reviving spiritual traditions and preserving the national cultural heritage. The new Leo Classics project will help consolidate the huge video archive of the Cultural Foundation, give viewers from all over the world access to watching a rich video collection», — said Elena Golovnina, Director General of the Russian Cultural Foundation.
She added that the service will become a new modern online platform for posting videos of the country's cultural institutions.
The following sections will be presented on the online platform: «Music», «Cinema», «Literature», «Theatre», «Dance», «History», «Museum», «Children», » Leotube». Now the viewer has access to more than 200 hours of high-resolution video content, a virtual exhibition space, including Morozova's Estate, Peterhof, the Faberge Museum, dozens of collections of classical music, theater productions, fine art exhibitions and much more.
