NIZHNY NOVGOROD, July 1 A pensioner threw a bottle of flammable liquid in front of a bank building in the city of Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod region, there was no fire, the woman was detained, according to the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
An incident was reported to the police near the building of one of the banks on Saturday at 16.20.
«Police officers who arrived at the scene detained a 67-year-old local resident who, after the persuasion of scammers, threw a bottle with a flammable mixture on a rug near the bank building. The fire planned by the attackers did not happen,» the report says.
The woman was taken to the police department for investigation, an investigation is underway.
