MOSCOW, July 4 The investigation filed a motion with the Lefortovo Court of Moscow to arrest a foreign citizen named Yermenko in a criminal case of espionage, the court reported.
«The petition of the investigation on the election of S.P. Ermenko, who is charged with committing a crime under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, a measure of restraint in the form of detention was registered today, the date of consideration has not been set at the moment,» the agency's interlocutor said. The details of the case were not disclosed in court due to its secrecy.
Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (espionage) provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 10 to 20 years.
