According to Izvestia newspaper with reference to the Federal Property Management Agency, the actual budget revenues from privatization in 2023 amounted to 12.1 billion rubles. This was achieved thanks to a successful transaction in the second quarter of this year, and an increase in income from the sale of 100% shares of Kuchuksulfat JSC is expected during 2023. The Federal Property Management Agency notes that the number of objects sold increased by 200% compared to the first quarter of 2022 due to the simplification of privatization procedures.
According to the newspaper, the Ministry of Finance planned to receive 1.8 billion rubles annually from 2023 to the budget by 2025, however, actual revenues exceeded this plan by almost seven times.
The authorities are striving to complete the privatization of 164 business entities, 35 enterprises and 28.4 thousand other state facilities. Information on the execution of the federal budget for January-March 2023, provided by the Accounts Chamber, indicates the privatization of 126 objects and blocks of shares in the amount of 523.2 million rubles.
According to the forecast privatization plan, Russia's ownership was 295 unitary enterprises and equity participation in 591 business companies as of September 5, 2022. Among them are companies engaged in agriculture, animal husbandry, construction, scientific development, electronics and transport. In addition, the authorities have non-residential premises and land plots, the number of which is not indicated.
