A source in the Russian Ministry of Defense named the target of the attack on the park area of the academy in Lvov. Earlier, in the report of the Russian defense department, it was officially reported that at night a high-precision weapon was struck at the points of temporary deployment of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries, as well as at the places of storage of foreign armored vehicles.
According to the source, the target of the strike was the territory academy of the ground forces in Lvov, where «Western military equipment and militants» were located. The representative of the Russian Defense Ministry called it a strike «on the strategic reserves of the enemy.»
He emphasized once again that the strike was carried out on the park area of the academy, where foreign-made armored vehicles were located.

In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted that barracks were hit on the territory of the academy, which housed about 800 Ukrainian military personnel and foreign mercenaries who arrived from Western training centers.
