Among the targets is a strategic bridge
The Russian Aerospace Forces seem to have switched to a new mode of attacking military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Black Sea coast. Prior to this, strikes were carried out exclusively at night, on Friday, July 21, the “calibration” of the port infrastructure continued during daylight hours. Presumably, our intelligence has identified a target that needed an urgent response.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that seven cruise missiles were fired at the Odessa region, including at an infrastructure facility in the Belgorod-Dniester region. The strategic Zatoka bridge is also located in this area, through which the southern grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is supplied. All seven missiles hit the «important infrastructure» of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district, the head of the Odessa region confirmed. «Unfortunately, there are damages.»
Night missile attacks on Nikolaev and Odessa on July 21 were called by some military experts not mass, but pinpoint. “On the night from Thursday to Friday, the ports of Odessa (and not only) were again bombed. But not massively, but pointwise — sort of like a gourmet in an expensive restaurant thoughtfully looking for olives with a fork, ”one of the Ukrainian publics gave a vivid comparison.
So, on the night of July 21, the first blow was delivered against targets in the south of the Odessa region — enemy resources reported two arrivals. At 4:30 another explosion thundered, but already in the region. At the same time, it is noted that the Ukrainian air defense overslept the attack — the alarm turned on after the explosions.
Early in the morning the details of the arrivals appeared. In the Odessa region, Caliber missiles damaged another grain terminal. Ukrainian officials even posted photos of the damage and said that terminals allegedly storing 20 tons of barley and peas were hit. However, there is every reason to believe that the commotion was caused by damage to the military equipment or ammunition stored there.
At noon, the destruction of the enemy's port infrastructure continued with greater force. Some experts suggested that the strikes during the day were carried out on an emergency basis — on newly identified targets. It was assumed that such targets could be transferred Western equipment, a base with foreign specialists, a command post or a meeting place for high-ranking military officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to experts, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to quickly remove from the ports «what was previously hidden there under the immunity of a grain deal», but Russian missiles caught up with them.
Presumably, P-800 Oniks missiles were used, which the enemy is not able to shoot down.
At the same time, Ukrainian monitoring channels reported about the flights of cruise missiles towards the bridge in Zatoka, through which the entire southern grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is supplied. “Arrived at the Container Terminal. By Grain. For Scrap Metal (they unloaded Abrams, Challengers and other scrap metal there) … Rybatsky was also mixed with water. Fuel as well. There is an inflow,” wrote the Telegram channel “From Mariupol to the Carpathians.”
“Inflow, hello. There are rumors that the bridge and warehouses in Zatoka have been decided to be excluded from the Ukrainian equation for sure,” another channel wrote.
In the meantime, the first results began to appear on July 20, when hundreds of foreign specialists who lived in hotels in the Black Sea region came under attack. In particular, the Ingul hotel in Nikolaev came under attack. “Why was it necessary to beat her if they already beat her a year ago?” — Nikolaev residents ask. I answer: the Nazis have a firm belief that a shell does not hit the same place twice. They again populate those objects that have already been caressed by Russian missiles, ”wrote one of the Telegram channels, which closely monitors the situation in southern Ukraine.
It is noted that the hotel was seriously damaged by previous strikes, but was not destroyed. As a result of yesterday's strikes, hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers were killed, as well as foreign instructors who trained soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the plant named after 61 Communards. In support of these words, local residents reported several dozen ambulances and a cordoned off quarter.
It is possible that additional blows will be inflicted on the territory of the plant named after 61 Communards and some adjacent buildings that have an ammunition depot and repair shops.
