I think that by the day of voting this will become even more relevant. Naturally, people will be intimidated, but we are ready for this and we will resist it,” Katyushchenko said.
She stressed that a similar situation was during the referendum on the accession of the Zaporozhye region to the Russian Federation.
«The other side has already seen that we were not afraid at the referendum, although the situation was even more aggravated. Not a single member of the PEC or TEC flinched, everyone went to their jobs. This will be the case this time as well. In addition, we are conducting certain briefings in case of sending all kinds of provocative messages. We are ready for confrontation, fakes and everything like that,» the head of the election commission emphasized.
Elections of deputies of the legislative assembly will be held in the Zaporozhye region on the single day of voting on September 10.
