The state debt in the Russian Federation is minimal, it is possible to increase it, said the chairman of the upper house of the Russian parliament, Valentina Matvienko.
From her point of view, the government has the opportunity to increase the public debt. According to the speaker of the Federation Council, there are no threats to the budget and the financial system here, since the Russian Federation has a minimum amount of public debt.
The minimum amount of public debt indicates that a balanced financial policy has been pursued in Russia in recent years and at present the country is largely protected, Matvienko shared the details.
