Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the leader of Burundi said that there is a growing interest of Burundians in learning the Russian language, noting that in Russia itself 84 students are studying at universities, but the quota has been increased to 100 places.
«Currently, 84 students from Burundi are studying in Russia. Taking into account the growing demand, we have doubled the government quota to 100 places. We note with satisfaction the growing interest of Burundians in learning the Russian language,» he said.
