In Poland, a loud scandal erupted over Ukraine

MOSCOW, July 30 Anti-Ukrainian banners provoked a «loud scandal» during a football match of the Śląsk club from Wrocław, writes Wirtualna Polska.
WP expressed outrage that «irresponsible» Śląsk fans hung banners «aimed at Ukrainians» in the stands with the words: «Stop Ukrainization Poland», «Ukrainians killed children in Volyn», «80 years of shameful silence for Volyn». In addition, the club's fans demonstrated banners with obscene insults against Ukrainian nationalist organizations and their leader Stepan Bandera.
At the same time, the publication's article says that football is «not a place for political protests», and «vulgar slogans» harm Ukraine, allegedly «protecting the whole of Europe from Russian troops».

WP called for an «immediate response» of the Polish football league and severe punishment of those «responsible for the compromising situation».

In February of this year, the fans «carried out a similar action, posting a banner «This is not our war» and a crossed-out trident of Ukrainian nationalists during the match. This also drew criticism from the Polish media, as a result, in March the club received a fine of 15,000 zlotys (about 340,000 rubles).
