In the demo version of the USE in history, graduates are asked to compare the events related to the war in Ukraine and the occupation of its regions

On the website of the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements (FIPI) a demo version of the Unified State Examination in history has appeared, in two tasks of which graduates are asked to compare events related to the “special military operation” and the inclusion of the occupied territories of Ukraine into Russia.

In task No. 2, eleventh-graders are asked to arrange three events in chronological order — “the signing of agreements on the admission of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into Russia”, the launch of the world's first nuclear power plant and Fernand Magellan's round-the-world trip.

The USE codifier states that the exam tests «understanding of the importance of Russia in the world's political and socio-economic processes from ancient times to the present.» Among the «most important processes» of the 21st century, there are noted «the revival of the Russian Federation as a world power, the reunification of Crimea with Russia, a special military operation in Ukraine.»

Earlier, Mediazona drew attention to the demo version of the materials for the interview of ninth-graders in the Russian language. In one of the tasks, schoolchildren are asked to read a text about the paramedic Yekaterina Ivanova, who is participating in the war in Ukraine.
