The Ministry of Justice has included political scientist Kirill Rogov, journalists Alexander Shtefanov and Konstantin Eggert in the list of «foreign agents».
The list also includes journalist Vitaly Dymarsky, economist Mikhail Krutikhin, Circassian activist Martin Kochesokov, Vladimir edition «Argument» and the organization MRR-Fund gemeinnützige UG (haftungsbeschränkt), which implements the My Russian Rights project. The latter is associated with human rights activist Olga Romanova.
According to the Ministry of Justice, all of them, except for Dymarsky and Kochesokov, opposed the war in Ukraine. At the same time, Kochesokov called for separatism and distributed materials from other «foreign agents», while Dymarsky published «inaccurate information» about the Russian authorities and the army.
From the register of «foreign agents» the department excluded the legal entity of the publication «Rosbalt» — the joint-stock company «RS-Balt». The Ministry of Justice explained this by “stopping receiving funds from foreign sources,” although the news agency itself began the process of liquidation back in April.
