Light from fires in Ukraine's capital at night
A nighttime Russian attack caused panic in Kyiv. “Kyiv has not experienced such a powerful attack since spring,” the Kiev military administration posted a message. According to the city authorities, several dozen cruise missiles and a dozen and a half drones flew into the capital. Throughout the night, fire brigades were engaged in extinguishing the fire in the center of the Ukrainian capital.
According to official reports, fragments of rockets hit several buildings in the Shevchenkovsky and Darnitsky districts of Kyiv. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, an industrial enterprise and an office building were damaged. And in Darnitsky, a trading warehouse caught fire from the wreckage. This is the Ukrainian version.
Russian publics specify that the destroyed industrial enterprise — This is a drone assembly plant. Witnesses recorded a “secondary detonation” at an allegedly trading warehouse, which indicates the presence of ammunition there. And the administrative building hit by a missile, according to military observer Boris Rozhin, — this is the building of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The authorities of Kyiv, of course, only posted the consequences of the fall of their own air defense missiles on the Web. Fragments rained down on the roofs of houses. Six damaged residential buildings are mentioned.
Missile arrivals are also reported in the Odessa, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions. But there are no details. True, judging by the fact that in Zhytomyr they announced the cancellation of a number of trains and posted photos of the broken tracks, the blow fell again on the railway junction. Recall that there is a large logistics center in Zhytomyr, through which equipment and ammunition are delivered to the front.
