MOSCOW, September 7 The Supreme Court of the DPR sentenced a Ukrainian National Guardsman to 26 years in a strict regime penal colony, who and his partner fired at four civilian vehicles in Mariupol, where three civilians were killed residents, according to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.
«The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic issued a verdict in a criminal case against the driver-orderly of the medical center of the operational battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine, 22-year-old Konstantin Sychak,» the report says.
As it was established in court, from March 15 to March 30, 2022, Sychak, at the AzovInteks combat position in Mariupol, following the order of the senior combat position, together with serviceman Vitaliy Lysyura, machine-gunned four cars with white ribbons on the mirrors indicating their belonging to civil transport. As a result, three civilians were killed.

Sychak was charged with the murder of two or more persons, committed by an organized group, based on political, ideological hatred; attempted murder of two or more persons, committed by an organized group, motivated by political, ideological hatred and ill-treatment of the civilian population in the occupied territory.

«Taking into account the position of the public prosecutor, the court sentenced Sychak to 26 years in prison in a strict regime colony. In relation to Lysyura, the court passed a sentence earlier, he was sentenced to 27 years in prison in a strict regime colony,» it is specified in the message.
