MOSCOW, September 7 At the by-elections of State Duma deputies , which will be held from 8 to 10 September in four single-member constituencies, 21 candidates are registered, there are no refusals to register, said Ella Pamfilova, head of the Russian Central Election Commission.
«At the by-elections to the State Duma of the eighth convocation, 23 candidates were nominated in four single-mandate constituencies… In the Republic of Crimea, out of six who were nominated, five were registered, one lost his status, because he did not submit any documents for registration… In the Lipetsk region, documents were submitted for six candidates, one of them from the Yabloko party did not reach the district commission, all the rest were registered,» Pamfilova said at the CEC information center, presenting a report on the readiness of the electoral system for a single voting day in 2023 of the year.
According to her, 21 candidates were registered in the by-elections in this way, «there are no refusals to register at this level,» since two declared candidates simply «did not reach» the election commissions.
