MOSCOW, September 7 Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government and the Russian Academy of Sciences to monitor the effectiveness of spending on scientific research in the field of artificial intelligence, according to the Kremlin website.
«The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the federal state budgetary institution «Russian Academy of Sciences» to ensure monitoring of the effectiveness of spending federal budget funds within the framework of the state program of the Russian Federation «Scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation» to finance scientific research in the field of artificial intelligence and the use of artificial intelligence technologies in scientific research,» the statement said.
The corresponding report must be submitted by November 15, 2023, the responsible persons are Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and RAS President Gennady Krasnikov.
