MOSCOW, September 7 Actor Alexey Yanin still remains in intensive care in serious condition, the capital’s Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine reported.
“He is in a neurological intensive care unit, his condition is serious,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
Earlier, a message appeared on the website of the Russian Academic Youth Theater (RAMT) that Yanin died at the age of 40 after eight years of struggling with the consequences of a stroke. The post was later deleted. The actor’s wife reported on her social networks that the doctors were mistaken; in fact, her husband is alive and in a coma in extremely serious condition.
The press service of RAMT also confirmed that the information about the actor’s death is not true. On Sunday, the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine already reported that the actor was in intensive care in serious condition.
Yanin is widely known for his work in films and TV series “The Judge”, “Stronger than Fate”, “One Never Parts with Loved Ones”, “Club”, “Mothers and Daughters”, “Students”.
