MOSCOW, September 8. Russian President Vladimir Putin held a separate meeting with the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, and discussed with him issues of regional development.
On Friday, the President visited the Nizhny Novgorod region, where he opened traffic on the section of the M-12 highway from Moscow to Arzamas, visited the Seraphim-Diveevsky Convent, and also held a meeting with young nuclear scientists in Sarov.
The head of state thanked Nikitin for the work already done, noting that problematic issues still need to be resolved. However, the region is developing successfully, the president noted.
““The Nizhny Novgorod region is developing at a good pace,” Putin said.
