The Ministry of Energy promised full implementation of plans for the development of petrochemicals

VLADIVOSTOK, September 11 All planned development plans for the Russian petrochemical industry will be fulfilled, although there may be a delay in individual projects for a year or two, as well as an increase in the required investments, said First Deputy Minister of Energy Pavel Sorokin during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
In his opinion, taking into account the sanctions pressure, in record time, all Russian companies, and especially Sibur, carried out “unique work on reengineering, searching for new equipment suppliers, and reorienting to new markets.”
“”Thanks to this work, in principle, we can say that all the plans that we have outlined, all that are present in the development strategy of the petrochemical complex, they will all be implemented. Yes, there may be a delay, a year or two, and other figures in terms of investment, but globally all these goals will be achieved,” Sorokin added.
The First Deputy Minister recalled that if previously products went mainly to Europe, now there is “advancement” in Africa, in the Asian market – both in the Middle East and the Far East.
