Rosfinmonitoring added Vyacheslav Hertsberg from the city of Syktyvkar to the “list of extremists and terrorists”. Those accused and convicted under articles of extremism and terrorism end up there, and their accounts are blocked.
According to the pro-government anonymous telegram channel “Fox and Raven”, on September 6 Herzberg was searched in connection with the case of donations to the Fund for the Fight against corruption, founded by politician Alexei Navalnykh (part 1 of article 282.3 of the Criminal Code). It was recognized by the court as an extremist organization.
Hertzberg had no previous third-party confirmation of searches. It is unknown what preventive measure was imposed on the 36-year-old Komi resident after the search. He was probably not placed under arrest: Herzebrg’s VKontakte account was online today. In the early 2010s, he wrote a blog on the website of the news publication about the life of the regions “7×7”.
In addition to Herzberg, searches related to FBK donations also took place on September 6 at least three more people – Moscow resident Ilya Startsev, Nizhny Novgorod resident Gleb Kalinichev and Omsk activist Anton Kovrik.
The Fox and Raven channel and the state publication RT also wrote that security forces came to Krasnoyarsk resident Andrei Novokreschenykh and Irkutsk resident Alexei Kamkin. No other sources reported this.
