TYUMEN, September 12 Election Commission of the Tyumen Region recognized Alexander Moor as elected to the position of head of the region, the chairman of the regional election commission, Igor Khalin, wrote in his Telegram channel.
“The protocol of the election commission of the Tyumen region and the summary table on the results of the election of the governor of the Tyumen region were approved. Registered candidate Moor Alexander Viktorovich was recognized as elected to the position of governor of the Tyumen region – 78.77% of the number of voters who took part in the vote in turnout voted for him voters 50.72%,” Khalin said in his Telegram channel.
Voting in the gubernatorial elections was one-day and took place in a single electoral district, which includes the territory of the Tyumen region, including the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. 2.677 million people were included in the voter lists.
In addition to the current governor Alexander Moor (United Russia), the LDPR candidate Denis Sadovnikov, who received 8.26% of the votes, the representative of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Ivan Levchenko, for whom 7.93% of voters voted, and the nominee from SRZP Vladimir Piskaikin, who received 3.62% of the votes.
In September 2018, the turnout in the gubernatorial elections was 49.01%. A total of 2.525 million people were included in the voter lists. Based on the results of processing 100% of the protocols, Moor then gained 65.86% of the votes.
