SARATOV, September 16 A minivan crashed into a power line support on a highway in the city of Ershov, Saratov region, as a result of which three people were killed and four more were injured , reported the regional traffic police department.
The accident occurred at 04.48 (03.38 Moscow time) on the 467th kilometer of the P-228 highway “Tambov – Penza – Pristannaye – Ershov – Ozinki – border of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
“By According to preliminary data, a male driver born in 1970, while driving a Lada Largus, hit an obstacle on the way – a power line support. As a result of the accident, three passengers died from their injuries at the scene, four people were taken to a medical facility,” they said to journalists at the department's press service.
The department noted that passengers born in 2002 and 1964 and a man born in 1994 were killed, the driver, a passenger born in 1964, and passengers born in 1993 and 2001 were injured.
A source in the emergency services clarified that citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan were traveling in the car.
