BARNAUL, September 19 A driver hit a girl to death in Barnaul and fled without calling doctors, a search is underway, a criminal case has been opened , reports the Prosecutor's Office of the Altai Territory in the Telegram channel.
“In the daytime on September 19, in the area of house 97 on Raduzhnaya Street in the village of Borzovaya Zaimka, an unknown person, driving a car at high speed, hit a pedestrian – a child born in 2015. After which, without calling medical workers and police, he disappeared . <…> The girl died on the spot,” the release says.
A criminal case has been initiated. Prosecutor of the Altai Territory Anton German put the investigation under control, assistant regional prosecutor Maria Antoshkina told reporters.
