SOCHI, September 19 The international media group “Russia Today” is carrying out technical modernization and abandoning Apple equipment, its CEO Dmitry Kiselev said at the “All Russia – 2023” forum.
He explained that the media group had received a corresponding request from the Ministry of Digital Development.
“We can’t do this right away; We have a lot of professional equipment, installation equipment, storage equipment, etc. We are currently carrying out technical modernization. Half of the equipment in our data centers is Russian,” Kiselev said.
According to him, the media group asked the ministry to provide it with a transition period.
“We agreed with the philosophy We will, of course, do this, but technically we need a transition period. I think this is correct,” Kiselev explained.
