IZHEVSK, September 19 Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is in Izhevsk, visited the Aeroscan enterprise, which specializes in the production of drones, it is reported on the Kremlin website.
«In Izhevsk, Vladimir Putin visited the Aeroscan enterprise, the parent organization of the ZALA Aero group of companies, specializing in the development and production of unmanned aircraft,» the statement said.
Aeroscan, in particular, produces Lancet loitering ammunition and reconnaissance drones.
“The head of state inspected the production lines of components and assembly of airframes, the latest models of special equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as the training center of the plant,” the Kremlin website also reports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin was accompanied by Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov, and Deputy Minister of Defense Alexey Krivoruchko. Explanations were given to the head of state by the chief designer of Aeroscan LLC, Alexander Zakharov.
