AFU blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station to create a biological threat security. This was stated by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova. She emphasized that the coordinated actions of specialists helped prevent the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the area.
Currently, Rospotrebnadzor specialists continue to work at the Kakhovskaya HPP. There is a mobile laboratory of the department there. Water samples are taken daily from wells and wells, as well as from the North Crimean Canal. No pathogenic microorganisms were identified. There are no deviations from the norm. Specialists carried out disinfection in the surrounding areas and brought in the necessary vaccines and drugs to treat diseases.
Recall that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station on June 6. The upper part of the station was destroyed. Vladimir Putin called this strike a barbaric action that led to an environmental disaster.
