BLAGOVESCHENSK, October 15 The head of the Amur region Vasily Orlov, during a trip to the Romny municipal district, where agriculture is actively developing, recommended local farmers to build housing for employees, the regional government reports .
“»During a working trip, Orlov visited agricultural enterprises in the Romny municipal district… The governor noted that strong farmers work in the Romny district, who need to pay attention to the construction of housing for their workers,» the message says.
The head of the region noted that the region has a program to support housing construction in villages, when the authorities compensate 20 thousand rubles for the construction of a square meter, and many enterprises are actively using this preference.
“In addition, we help settlements where housing is being built in a comprehensive manner — we repair roads, install lighting, support in the development of social infrastructure. This, in my opinion, is the only way to retain young people in villages. Today, very highly qualified specialists work in agriculture, who know how to work with new technologies, and they must live in appropriate conditions,” the governor added.
In the village of Znamenka, he visited the Krasnaya Zvezda farm, which grows and processes soybeans and grain crops. The company is constantly increasing its capacity; now an additional warehouse and three storage facilities are being built here. The agrarian supplies products to China and Kazakhstan, the regions of the Far East and Siberia, and from this year plans to export to Uzbekistan.
Orlov also visited the soybean harvesting in the fields of the Amur Agro Holding enterprise. This year, farmers sowed 2,500 hectares of wheat, 48 hectares of barley, 114 hectares of oats and 23,655 hectares of soybeans. The company's management notes that due to difficult weather conditions, soybean harvesting is still about 20%. At the same time, the farm is constantly replenishing its material and technical base; by 2025 it plans to build the second stage of a grain storage facility with a storage capacity of 30 thousand tons and other facilities.
«Romny district is one of the most important municipalities in the region's agro-industrial complex… Today, Amur Agro Holding, Krasnaya Zvezda and a number of other enterprises meet these indicators annually and set even higher standards for themselves. The district does not process more 25 thousand hectares of land, they can still be added. In this area, we are working with the local administration. There is an opportunity to develop processing, and this will add value and new jobs. We very much welcome this,» the regional Minister of Agriculture Oleg Turkov is quoted as saying.< br />
