MAKHACHKALA, Oct 25 A teenager injured in a gas explosion in a private house in the Kizilyurt region of Dagestan received burns on almost 100% of the surface of his body, his condition is assessed as serious, they reported in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic.
On Wednesday, a gas exploded in a one-story private house in the village of Chontaul, Kizilyurt district. According to the district administration, the injured 15-year-old boy is in intensive care.
““The child’s body surface was affected almost 100%, his condition is regarded as serious, he is now receiving medical care in the city hospital ( Kizilyurt),” the Ministry of Health said.
A team from the Dagestan Center for Disaster Medicine went to Kizilyurt to provide assistance to the teenager. Specialists will also evaluate the possibility of transporting the boy to Makhachkala.
