MOSCOW, November 4.The driver and three passengers of the car, including a ten-year-old child, died as a result of an accident with a Gazelle in the Stavropol Territory, reports the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
“»On the third of November, at about 21.30, at the 14th kilometer of the Svetlograd – Blagodarny – Budennovsk highway (intersection with the Approach to Svetlograd highway) a traffic accident occurred involving two cars. According to preliminary information, the driver of a Gazelle truck did not provide an advantage in traffic and allowed a collision with a Lada Granta car,” the report says.
It is noted that the driver and three passengers died as a result of the accident: a man, a woman and a ten-year-old child. The driver and passenger of the Gazelle were taken to a medical facility in Svetlograd.
«It was also established that the two dead men were employees of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Petrovsky city district. As it turned out, a citizen had earlier contacted the police with a report of a family scandal and causing bodily harm to her and her daughter. Law enforcement officers brought the woman with the girl to the hospital for examination, and on the way back, they became involved in a fatal accident,” the message adds.
The police are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. At the moment, the issue of initiating a criminal case under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles) is being decided.
