SAMARA, November 4. The driver of a Niva hit two teenagers on the side of Naberezhnaya Street in the village of Malyachkino, Samara Region, one of them died, the regional investigative department reported RF IC on the social network VKontakte.
«»Today, at approximately 18 o'clock (17.00 Moscow time — ed.), a 21-year-old driver, driving a Niva car, moving along Naberezhnaya Street in the village of Malyachkino, Shigonsky district, hit minor pedestrians who were walking along «the left edge of the roadway in the same direction as the vehicle. As a result of the incident, one 15-year-old pedestrian was killed, and a second minor was injured,» the department said in a statement.
The injured teenager has now received all the necessary medical care.
On the fact of the accident, the investigative department for the city of Syzran began an investigation, investigators are clarifying the circumstances of the incident. Operational support is provided by employees of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
