MOSCOW, November 5. Guests of the Moscow region stand at the Russia exhibition will be able to feel like drone operators under the guidance of an instructor from a pilot school near Moscow, the press service reported governor and regional government.
“At the Moscow region stand at the Rossiya exhibition and forum, anyone can feel like a drone operator. Vladislav Novikov, an instructor at the Moscow region FPV drone piloting school, helps guests understand how to control it. The Air Cinema company, which Vladislav owns, has implemented a large number of projects — filming sporting events, films, TV series and festive events. In addition, their footage is used at many exhibition stands,» the press service noted.
According to Novikov, you can feel like a drone operator at the exhibition with the help of professional glasses and a simulator program. He also said that in the spring of this year, drone control schools for young people were launched in the Moscow region.
«We began to cooperate with Yunarmiya and have already opened such in Shchelkovo, Serpukhov, Sergiev Posad and Kolomna, as well as in the Patriot park. All participants in military-patriotic clubs go there absolutely free,” said Novikov, whose words are quoted in the message.
According to Novikov, in 2024 it is planned to open eight more such schools in the region.
FPV drone (FPV, First-person view — first-person view) — a type of drone (mainly copter, but also aircraft types), controlled remotely by an operator using a remote control and virtual or augmented reality glasses, into which an image from a heading camera is broadcast drone. The drone operator sees the image in front of him as if the aircraft were manned and the operator was in its cockpit.
On Saturday, National Unity Day, the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” opened at VDNKh, which will last until April 12. All 89 regions, as well as federal ministries and departments, corporations and public organizations presented their achievements. The Moscow region also has a stand at the exhibition.
