MOSCOW, November 10. Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter advised Ukrainian generals to remove Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in order to stop the conflict in the country and preserve the territories remaining in Kiev. He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel Reporterfy Media.
“»If you are a Ukrainian general, go to Kiev, get a gun and do something with Zelensky. I'm not saying you need to kill him. I mean, that he needs to be removed from the president’s office,” the officer said.
As Ritter said, the overthrow of the Kiev government could not only save people’s lives, but would also allow Ukraine to retain Odessa, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk.
Earlier, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, acknowledged the deadlock at the front and said that “most likely, there will not be a deep and beautiful breakthrough.” According to a publication in the Economist magazine, Kyiv and the West expected more from the Ukrainian counteroffensive. According to Zaluzhny, in accordance with NATO textbooks, four months should have been enough for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to reach Crimea.
Russia has repeatedly expressed its readiness for negotiations, but the Ukrainian authorities have introduced a ban on them at the legislative level. The Kremlin also noted that now there are no prerequisites for the situation to transition to a peaceful direction, while achieving the goals of the special operation remains an absolute priority for Moscow. According to Vladimir Putin, Russia has never refused dialogue, but the other side must say directly about its readiness for it.
