The Office of the Investigative Committee for the Lensky District of Yakutia opened a criminal case for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm (Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code) against a local resident. According to the SakhaDay publication and the Baza telegram channel, a case was opened against a policeman who beat his boss during the celebration of Police Day.
As the Investigative Committee writes, on November 10, the suspect hit another man on the head due to a “suddenly arisen personal hostility” near a restaurant in the city of Lensk. SakhaDay, citing its sources, clarifies that the victim is police lieutenant colonel Alexey Nadtochiev, who was beaten by MVD captain Roman Sevryugin.
The Baza Telegram channel published several videos in which, presumably, Sevryugin knocks Nadtochiev to the floor of the restaurant, after which he hits the prone man in the head many times with his fist. The reason for their conflict is unknown.
After the fight, the lieutenant colonel fell into a third-degree coma, which often ends in death. He is now in intensive care. A RIA Novosti source in law enforcement agencies reported that the court sent Captain Sevryugin to a pre-trial detention center.
