ST. PETERSBURG, November 18 A newborn child, about a month old, wrapped in a blanket, was found in a park in St. Petersburg, reports the press service of the GUMVD for the city and Leningrad region.
“On November 17 at 07:50, the Pushkinsky district police received a message from a passer-by that a newborn child had been found in Pushkin, opposite house 42 on Pavlovskoye Highway on the territory of the Separate Park,” the press service reports.
Police arrived at the scene and found a girl wrapped in a blanket in the park, as determined to be about a month old. The child was handed over to the ambulance crew. The location of her parents is now being established, operational search activities are underway, the GUMVD added.
