MOSCOW, Nov 19 Former US First Lady Rosalynn Carter, wife of the 39th US President Jimmy Carter, has died at the age of 96, the Carter Center, a non-governmental organization founded by her, announced.

Former US President Jimmy Carter, 99, led the country from 1977 to 1981, receiving a post-presidential term of the Nobel Peace Prize. Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter have been married since 1946.
