KALUGA, November 20 The delegation of the Kaluga region, led by Governor Vladislav Shapsha, presented in China the region’s potential for the development of an auto cluster and the production of auto components.
Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha reported in his Telegram channel that he worked with the regional delegation at the International Automobile Exhibition in Guangzhou. The exhibition, as Shapsha noted, is one of the three largest in the People's Republic of China (PRC).
“We held negotiations with representatives of Chinese business interested in developing cooperation with the Kaluga region. We presented the potential of our region for the development of an auto cluster and the production of auto components “Now the main task is to resume the work of the regional automobile industry, establish new connections, and expand cooperation,” the governor wrote.
Vladislav Shapsha said that the technological breakthrough that the Chinese automotive industry has made in recent years impresses him – in particular, the development of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and environmentally friendly electric transport. The governor emphasized that the government of the Kaluga region has great interest in cooperation with Chinese manufacturers.
