Telegram -the Shot channel published a video that captured the moment of fuel being dumped from a plane that caught fire during takeoff in Ulan-Ude.
According to the channel, the crew of the plane informed dispatchers about the fire. After this, all services of the Baikal airport were put on high alert, fire crews and doctors arrived at the runway.
It is clarified that the pilots of the aircraft managed to minimize the risks in the event of an emergency landing, they dumped fuel. As a result, the plane landed at 8.35 local time.
Currently, a special emergency commission will determine the cause of the fire. The case is under control of the transport prosecutor's office.
