MOSCOW, December 7 The Bryansk region prosecutor's office will check how security legislation was ensured in the gymnasium, whose student committed the shooting, reports the press service of the supervisory agency.
«The Prosecutor's Office of the Bryansk Region organized an inspection of the report of a shooting in gymnasium No. 5 in Bryansk. An inspection was also organized of the implementation of legislation on education and on ensuring safe conditions for students and teachers, including the organization of security and compliance with access control regulations,» — the message says.
In addition, prosecutors will check the implementation of legislation on the circulation of weapons and the rules for their storage. The actions of responsible officials and the owner of the weapon that was used will also be assessed.
According to preliminary data from the Investigative Committee, a 14-year-old girl brought a pump-action shotgun to the gymnasium, from which she shot at her classmates. As a result, two died (one of them was the shooter), five victims were taken to a medical facility.
