MOSCOW, December 8. The fire on the main pedestrian street in a cafe in Nizhny Novgorod has been completely extinguished, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports on its Telegram channel.
The fire in the cafe on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street, building 46 was reported at 16.14. The roof on the fourth floor was on fire. 50 people were evacuated. The regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that there were no dead or injured. At 18.51 the fire was localized to an area of 150 square meters.
«In Nizhny Novgorod, firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations completely extinguished the fire,» the department said in a statement.
