MINSK, December 8 Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Pyotr Parkhomchik said that Belarusian enterprises are ready to supply Russia with machinery and equipment for forestry, water treatment, and cleaning of urban areas .
“A summary of the proposals. The first is technologies and equipment for water purification, water treatment and wastewater disposal. There are Belarusian enterprises that successfully solve these issues, supply equipment to the Russian Federation. They produce treatment stations… We can produce the quantity you need,” — Parkhomchik said on Friday in Minsk during a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko.
According to him, the second area for cooperation between the countries is the supply of municipal equipment for cleaning urban areas. Parkhomchik noted that a wide range of such equipment is produced in Belarus by a number of enterprises, in particular, MAZ, MTZ and Amkodor. He clarified that it is possible to supply both finished equipment and supply chassis for retrofitting directly to specific needs in the Russian Federation.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the parties are implementing a tire processing project in the Voronezh region and proposed to continue work on the creation of such plants.
Parkhomchik also proposed the supply of Belarusian forestry equipment to the Russian Federation, emphasizing that the republic has successfully coped with the task of import substitution in the production of such machines. He expressed his readiness to share Belarusian experience in the field of reforestation, monitoring emergencies in forests and prompt elimination of forest fires, and spoke about the Belarusian experience in collecting ferrous and non-ferrous metal waste for further processing.
