Russia's trade turnover with unfriendly countries will decrease by 5 times by 2030 will decrease five times, says the forecast of the Center for Strategic Research. RIA Novosti reports this.
The document states that over the past 3 years, trade turnover with countries that are currently classified as unfriendly has decreased significantly.
First Deputy General Director of the Center for Social Development Tatyana Gorovaya indicated that in 2021, exports to the above states accounted for 55% of Russia’s total exports. Imports accounted for 26%.
According to the forecast, by the end of 2023, unfriendly countries will account for only 16% of Russian exports and 7% of imports.
“It is expected that in the future by 2030, the volume of international trade with these countries will decrease fivefold,” follows from the document.
