The German hosting company Hetzner has stopped hosting the site Agentura.ru. This was announced by the site's editor-in-chief Andrei Soldatov.
According to the journalist, Hetzner terminated the contract “due to the tense geopolitical situation with Russia.”
The Agentura.ru project has been studying the activities of Russian intelligence services since 2000. Last summer, a criminal case was opened against Andrei Soldatov on military “fakes” (Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code) because of an interview in which the journalist spoke about the reasons for the arrest of FSB General Sergei Beseda, who is responsible for intelligence in Ukraine.
