LUGANSK, December 8 LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik after the president’s consent Vladimir Putin's Russian Federation to participate in the elections said that the residents of the republic are with him.
“Today Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin gave his consent to participate in the 2024 presidential elections… On behalf of the entire Republic, I want to say that the people of Luhansk region are with the President!” Pasechnik wrote in his Telegram channel.
The head of the LPR recalled that the residents of the republic made their choice back in 2014.

And our President today acts as the Guarantor of development and movement forward, the Guarantor of stability and economic prosperity, Guarantor of Victory. Previously, Putin announced his participation in the Russian presidential elections, which will take place in March 2024.
Vladimir Putin was elected to the post of President of Russia four times — in 2000, 2004, 2012 and 2018. After the adoption of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, he received the right to stand as a candidate in new presidential elections in 2024.
