MOSCOW, December 9Dagestan today has credit obligations for infrastructure budget loans, which the republic received for the implementation of vital projects for the population, including the reconstruction of wastewater treatment plants in Makhachkala, said the head of the region, Sergei Melikov, in an interview at the Russia exhibition and forum.
“The republic has loan obligations, but I am ready to bear responsibility for each of them in any of my statements. Obligations for infrastructure budget loans that the republic received for the construction of a water pipeline, for the reconstruction of treatment facilities in the city of Makhachkala and the reconstruction of the collector of the city of Makhachkala, for the treatment of solid municipal waste. This is a method of financing from the federal budget that does not involve other approaches,” Melikov noted.
According to him, Dagestan is “one of the few regions” that managed to present projects in a timely manner, protect them and receive loans to eliminate infrastructure problems. restrictions.
«Of course, people want this to happen quickly, but these are processes that cannot be implemented or realized in one day. Therefore, the budgets that we took today and for which the republic has loan obligations to the Russian Federation , these are projects that are vital for people,” said the head of the region.
One of the major projects that Dagestan is implementing with the help of an infrastructure budget loan is the Chirkei – Makhachkala – Kaspiysk main water pipeline, for the design and construction of which the region was approved for a loan in the amount of 10.5 billion rubles. It is expected that the new water pipeline, the construction of which is planned to be completed in 2025, will provide quality water to about 900 thousand residents of the region.
