MOSCOW, December 13 The fire occurred in a stable in the east of Moscow, according to the Telegram channel of the capital's prosecutor's office, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that the fire has already been extinguished, five horses were saved.
«On Losinoostrovskaya Street, a fire occurred in a non-residential one-story building on the territory of an equestrian center. According to preliminary data, the fire area was about 100 square meters. The exact number of dead horses is being established,» the prosecutor's office said in a statement.
The Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations notes that rescuers completely extinguished the fire in the stable.
«In Moscow, firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations saved 5 horses from a fire,» the department also reported.
According to a source in the emergency services, eight horses died as a result of the incident, the cause of the fire was a faulty heater.
