ST. PETERSBURG, December 12 A fire occurred in a wooden house in Vologda, where more than 30 people lived; the issue of temporary accommodation of people in hotels and hostels is being considered, said the mayor of the city Sergei Voropanov.
The fire occurred on Tuesday at Sovetsky Prospekt, 82. 
«»There are 22 apartments in the building, including municipal ones. More than 30 people lived here. The situation is difficult, but we are keeping it under control… Many left the house very quickly, without having time to get dressed and put on shoes. Volunteers have already brought some of the necessary warm clothes. We will bring them soon too shoes,” Voropanov wrote on his page on the VKontakte social network.
He noted that in the near future people will be sent to school, where they can eat and warm up. “We are now considering the issue of temporary accommodation of people in hotels in the city and dormitories of OMZ and VPZ enterprises. A mobile point (bus) remains at the site of the fire, where you can warm up and ask questions,” added Voropanov.
According to him, work will begin tomorrow to restore the documents of the residents of the house. “We are working on our legal steps to provide financial assistance to people who have lost all their property,” he concluded.
According to the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire was localized to an area of 90 square meters.
