KALININGRAD, December 13 A homeless man near Kaliningrad pretended to be a killer, convinced the elderly woman who let him live that he had a “contract” to kill her, and lured she has money for refusing to execute it, the press service of the regional police department reported.
“»The attacker met an 84-year-old woman. The pensioner took pity on the stranger and let him live in her house located in one of the villages. Almost immediately the man began to intimidate the owner: he lied that he was a killer and received an order to eliminate her, however, he felt sorry for his victim and is ready to refuse the “contract” for a certain amount, the message says.
According to the Internal Affairs Directorate, the pensioner was scared, believed and gave the “mercenary» 60 thousand rubles for the failed liquidation. The victim’s relatives accidentally found out about what happened and persuaded the woman to contact the police. A criminal case was opened under the article «extortion». The defendant had already been convicted several times.
